MEDICAL CONGRESS “CHALLENGES TO MEDICAL SCIENCE AND PRACTICE IN XXI CENTURY”

The Head of LMC - Prof. Ovanes Mekenyan gave a lecture on the molecular modelling of biological effects. He explained the differences between the drug design processes for industrial and for regulatory purposes.

During the lecture delivery Prof. Mekenyan introduced the audience to the work of LMC with respect to the activities in the scientific fields, main software products, developed by LMC and LMC`s partners including regulatory organizations and industrial companies.

Medical congress

September 01-03, 2022

Experienced specialists from medical universities and centers in the country arrived in Burgas for the first congress on medicine, organized by the Faculty of Medicine at the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov".

The topic of the forum was "Challenges to medical science and practice in the 21st century" and it was held in the period September 01-03 in the hall of the Medical Corps, University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov".

Members of the academic and medical community in Burgas and their colleagues from the country presented reports related to the challenges facing medicine.

Scientific works were also presented in the sectors "Medical Biophotonics and Biophysics", "Obstetrics and Gynecology", "Reproduction", and "Infectious".

The participants had the opportunity to hear academic lectures from the leader in the field of molecular modeling of biological effects Prof. Ovanes Mekenyan; Prof. Lachezar Avramov from the Biophotonics Laboratory at BAS (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences) and Prof. Ganka Bekyarova from the hosts from the Faculty of Medicine in Burgas.
